When Trinity House set out to find families of seafarers to support one of the participating charities, the Sailors' Children's Society, appointed Mapa PR to provide public relations and design services for the nationwide campaign.
The aim was to find needy families who could be living anywhere in the country and offer financial and practical support to improve their children's chances. Our integrated PR and social media campaign gained print and broadcast coverage in ports such as Glasgow, Liverpool, Hull and Dover and inland in Birmingham and Sandwell.
We also designed the campaign's branding and trained volunteers around the country to use Facebook and Twitter as a way of seeking out more recipients.
